Langtoft 10K Road Run & 3K Fun Run

Place:  Langtoft is situated off the A15, just north of Market Deeping.

The Start of both races will be easily visible in West End.

Changing Rooms, Toilets, Bag Storage, Race Number/timing chip collection, Late Entries (3k only) & Enquiries at the Pavilion. From West End, take the second turning right (Manor Way), first right (Manor Close), follow road to end, turn left into car park.

Parking at the Pavilion and Langtoft School – PLEASE FOLLOW MARSHAL INSTRUCTIONS.

Parking space is limited – PLEASE CONSIDER CAR SHARING WITH OTHER ENTRANTS.

Please note that the Start Line is 5-10 minutes walk away from the car parking area.

**PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN MANOR CLOSE or IN WEST END**

Race Numbers as issued by the event must be worn by all runners and should be clearly displayed on the FRONT of the running vest.  Numbers must not be folded, cut or mutilated in any way.  Please ensure that you complete the Medical Information Template on the reverse of your number.

Headphones: due to Health & Safety and Insurance concerns, the wearing of personal headphones during these races is not permitted.  Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

At the Finish:   Try not to stop as you cross the line.

Results will be available on the website as soon as practically possible. Postal copies may be ordered on race day.

3K FUN RUN

Start time: 10.15 am.  All runners should assemble at the start area at 10.00am.  There will be two drink stations – at the turnaround point and at the finish.  Marshals and First Aiders will be on duty – please obey their instructions.

To all Children: please follow the front vehicle. If not, you will be disqualified.

 Trophies awarded to 1^st Male, 1^st Female and for the first Langtoft resident boy and girl in three age categories (4-7, 8-11, 12-16, as per age on race day). Trophies are presented at the Pavilion after the 10k has finished.  Medal to all finishers.

10K ROAD RUN

 Start time: approximately 11.15 am.

The Course: will be measured by kilometre markers. The roads are not closed to traffic (apart from King Street junction) so please keep to the left at all times for your own safety. There will be three drink stations – at approximately 5km, 8km, and at the finish.  There will be numerous Marshals on the course, back-up vehicles and First-Aiders. A time clock will be on the lead car and at the finish.  The Race is held under UK Athletics Rules and is a measured course (Accuracy Certificate No.12/027).  There is a 90 minute cut-off time, after which the event will start to be cleared away.

Trophies/Prizes awarded to 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd Men, 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd Women, 1^st male Vet, 1^st female Vet, 1^st male Langtoft resident, 1^st female Langtoft resident, 1^st male aged under 25, 1^st female aged under 25. Presented at the Pavilion after the main race has finished (approximately 12.45pm).
